Laundry Room Makeover!

I hate that I didn't take a picture of the "before" of my laundry room but this is the "after"!  This is the room my family enters everyday, numerous times a day, so I needed good flow and a place for everything.

My latest addition to my laundry room is LABELS!  I created them on my computer, printed and laminated them.  I felt like if I added the labels the kids might find a new place for their laundry other than my floor!  

Added a bench with cubbies for the kids shoes.  I have since added another row of hook for hats.

Love my space saver sink.  I added a hanging hook that folds down over the sink for clothes to hang and dry.

We decided to stack the washer and dryer for more cabinet space.  No regrets...I love it! 

Arrrg! A Pirates Room!

I have to take a picture every time I redo my boy's room because I know it won't be long until I'm ready to change it again!  Pirate theme is what we chose this time, which makes it the 4th room makeover in 9 years.  I love change!

Pretty in Pink!

Ok, so after having 2 boys, I was pretty darn excited to find out I was having a girl.  Bye bye blue stuff and bring on the pink.

Party hats made out of cad stock paper, fabric, trim and monogramed.  Tutu made with ribbon and dark and light pink tulle.

You want my house in a magazine?

Well, not really, but sometimes I need motivation to get the house clean so I set the scene.  What better way to get your house picture perfect than to think someone is going to feature it in a magazine.  Imagination is not just for kids, get busy!

Stay focused on one room at a time.  It's nice to be able to sit back at the end of the day and see your accomplishment, because you know once the kids come home it won't be the same.  Enjoy it while you can!

Go Shine Your Sink!

The hardest thing for me to do at night, when I am completely exhausted from my day, is clean the kitchen.  9 times out of 10 I put it off until the next day.  BUT when I do "Shine my Sink"  I can breath easier and wake up to a good clean start.  I started following this site and absolutely love it.  It is an awesome guide for cleaning your home and organizing your life.  The first step:  Shine Your Sink!
